Overview

UserTesting app allows sharing test insights to channels like Slack, JIRA and few others.

UserTesting APIs take this to next level and allow customers to share session videos, clips and highlight reels containing insights from multiple sessions with their network outside of UserTesting App.

UserTesting Platform also allows partners to embed iFrames containing UserTesting video players to create seamless experience for our customers.

Content Access Levels

We will support playback of both public and protected assets including:

Public

“Anyone with this link” can access the asset

Account Protected (commonly referred to as Protected)

“Anyone in the account” can access the asset. This setting requires a users to authenticate with UserTesting platform before viewing the content.

Workspace Protected (commonly referred to as Private)

“Anyone in Workspace X” can access this asset. This setting requires a users to authenticate with UserTesting platform AND have permission to view an asset in a Private workspace.

Ways to share

Partners can leverage our Public APIs to retrieve UserTesting assets or embed iFrames containing UserTesting content in their applications.

• UserTesting API catalogue contains APIs (Clip API, Session API & Highlight Reel API) to help the caller application in unfurling UserTesting content. Refer to Unfurling APIs page or API specifications page for details.

• UserTesting Platform also allows partner platforms to embed iFrames containing video objects in external applications. Refer to Embedded Playback page for details.
